As a nurse practitioner, Heather Garb Flanagan '04 has worked with breast cancer patients since 2007.
"I kept hearing the same questions when the women were diagnosed,” said Flanagan. "They don’t know where to turn for information, and some of the information out there on the Internet can be very scary.”
Flanagan created an easy-to-use website for women facing breast cancer. The website is called www.mybreastcanceranswers.com and provides up to date information on research, forums for patients and other helpful tools. The homepage reads:
